From the editors: they wanted to write pathetically. Like this: "realities of life..." Or like this: "the moment comes when..." Or: "modern requirements for specialists..." But we won't. It is clear that each of us at least once writes a text about himself, makes some kind of self-presentation. And it is very difficult. It is so difficult that I had to run and make a repost of Anna Ivanova's article . It will be useful for everyone. And even pen sharks and keyboard woodpeckers do not like to write texts about themselves.

And while I have never met a person who would say: "Yes! I like to talk about myself! It's so easy and enjoyable!" Talking (and even more so writing) about yourself is usually difficult, and it's not surprising. Another surprising thing: it used to be easy. Once upon a time, each of us presented ourselves easily and with pleasure. When? But in childhood, of course! This is clearly stated by Kevin Bahler in his speech at TEDx. Full video of Kevin Baler's performance (in English) As children, says Kevin, we had no difficulty introducing ourselves to strangers.
You could run into the playground and shout from afar: “Hi, I'm Kevin! I am five years old, I love transformers. Shall we play?” And that's it, you already have friends, sometimes for life. Enthusiasm waned in youth, but we still did pretty well: “Hi, I'm Kevin, I'm a Radiohead fanatic. What are you listening to?" This was enough to start dating. (And if you put on a T-shirt with a portrait of your favorite band, you could do without words at all.) As children, we easily chose words to introduce ourselves and interest others But then something went wrong..
