Use common sense. This should be fairly easy to understand. There are however a couple of things I want to mention that might not be so obvious. - I don't mind swearing. Obviously. Just keep in mind that other people might. - I will be honest and say that religion makes me uncomfortable. Do whatever you like with that info. - Make sure you're familiar with Proboards' Community Guidelines so you don't accidentally break them and get us all banned. - If you don't log in for 6 months I'll be deleting your account. I like to have a more-or-less-accurate idea of how many real users we have. That said I don't care how 'active' you are, such and such number of posts per week or whatever. Basically, you get out of Books and Covers what you put into it. The rest is up to you. - This last item here I wasn't sure if I was going to add or not, but ultimately decided it's better to be safe than sorry. In all aspects of life, but especially here because I'm the boss, if someone threatens to hurt themselves, fucking take them seriously! Even if you're like 99.99% sure they're just looking for attention, ALWAYS put the effort in. Better. Safe. Than sorry. Anyway yeah. Common sense should just about cover it otherwise.

A guideline is a statement by which to determine a course of action. A guideline aims to streamline particular processes according to a set routine or sound practice. By definition, following a guideline is never mandatory. Guidelines are not binding and are not enforced.
